The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science serves the entire University, ensuring the formation of mathematical and computer skills for the students of our university.
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science represents an independent academic structure, within the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, with the mission of ensuring the fundamental and scientific training, in the field of mathematics and informatics, of undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and postgraduate students.
Thus, within the undergraduate study programs, the Department of Mathematics and omputer Science supports the courses, seminars and laboratories in the following disciplines (compulsory/optional/facultative): Complementary mathematics, Mathematical analysis, Linear algebra, Analytic and differential geometry, Differential and partial differential equations, Special mathematics, Combinatorial and algorithmic graph analysis, Mathematical statistics, Operations research, Modeling, simulation, Applied computer science, Computer programming and programming languages, Parallel and distributed processing.
