ABOUT:

The DigiSTEM International Conference: Innovating Education through Digital Transformation is a multiplier event in which the center is sharing and disseminating the DigiSTEM project’s results.
The event focuses on an effective use of digital tools and resources in education from both pedagogical and technological perspectives, concrete actions and examples of usability of technology. The overall objective of the event is to enhance HEI educators’ technological and pedagogical competencies on a large scale to achieve long-lasting effects in everyday activity on the project partners and other European HEIs.
The goal of the conference is to get more teaching and training professionals to use the results of the project in their education and curricula. During the event the project partners present the benefits of results of the project and tell about their experiences in using the methodologies, platform and guidelines. During the conference the DigiSTEM Community is promoted to get more members to the community.
The participants are also invited to present their development in the field of STEM subjects. Furthermore, all the presentations will be collected into the project’s MOOC. All interested parties in the field of training and education of STEM subjects will be invited to participate and contribute to the conference. The event is open to all interested professionals to participate.
This meeting aims to stimulate research and interaction between mathematicians and engineers in all aspects related to digital tools and resources in education from both pedagogical and technological perspectives.
We invite you to participate in the conference and look forward to fruitful cooperation.

Abstract Submission:

Abstracts should be prepared in Word, using the abstract sample template below (without changing the file format). The files will be named Name_Surname_abstract.doc, will contain maximum 20 lines written in English, and will be sent by email to the address: dmi@utcb.ro.
Estimated presentation time is 15 minutes (in addition, 5 minutes will be reserved for questions and discussions).

Papers Publication:

The full texts should be prepared in Word, using the template file below. The papers will be written in English, named Name_Surname_paper.doc, and sent by email to the address: dmi@utcb.ro.
Selected papers (even in an extended version) will be published in the Romanian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science following the current procedures described at https://www.rjm-cs.ro. Romanian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science is indexed and abstracted in: MathSciNet, zbMATH Open, DOAJ, Google Scholar, Sudoc, ASCI, EBSCO-Szczepanski’s List, Wikidata.

Certificates of Participation:

Electronic Certificates of Participation will be sent by email to all participants, after the end of the conference.

Deadline for Registration:

Submission of the abstract (and mention of the appropriate section from above): 30.09.2024 09.09.2024.
Submission of the paper: 14.10.2024 23.09.2024

Fee:

It is free of charge, there is no registration fee!

Letter of Acceptance and Invitation:

Please note that our acceptance letter does not constitute a commitment on ICIEDT 2024 Organizing Committee part with regard to financial support of your attendance at this Conference and all fees and expenses must be met by you and/or your organization.
We do not provide any assistance relating to Visa, travel and accommodation other than this Letter of Acceptance for the Romania conference.
ICIEDT 2024 Organizing Committee hereby reiterates that we are NOT authorized to assist with any Visa application works.
A Letter of Acceptance is a proof that your abstract/paper submission and registration application are accepted and invited by the conference committee board. It will be stated in English and may help with your visa application. However, it does not guarantee you a visa.
Should your application be denied, ICIEDT 2024 Organizing Committee cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will we engage in discussion or correspondence with the MoFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant.
